This course is suitable for marine engineering officers, electrical or electro-technical officers, engineer surveyors and marine superintendents.
The training gives seafarers the essential education and training in high voltage (HV) installations to meet the Knowledge, Understanding and Proficiency requirements as set out in STCW 2010 Tables A-III/2 and A-III/6 for electrical, electronic and control systems at the management level.

To improve safety awareness related to and enhance knowledge of High Voltage Electrical Regulations and safe working practice.

The High Voltage certificate must be renewed at 5 year intervals. The fee includes notes. Refreshments and lunch are provided whilst on course. Please notify us if there are any personal catering allergies or religious restrictions, in order for us to make the necessary arrangements


Knowledge of English (speak, read & write) including maritime terminology. Sea going experience (level and rank depending)
